Closing the end of summer Marina De Buchi, Katy Thomas and I decided to take to the shore for one last photo shoot before I would catch hypothermia. Here's just a few from the shore line. To be completely honest i wasn't too cold but kneeling upon all the small rocks was painful!

Mallory Knox Hello
Thanks to Marina Ablett I acted in the Mallory Knox's most recent video "Hello" directed, filmed and created by Dan Broadley. The story line for the music video is the last days of summer and friendship and trying to make the most of it before it runs away. So the boys have to make an effort to get up, go out, and see their friends. On the day of filming we couldn't help compare the boys to looking like 1 direction sitting on the pier and the girls as Saturdays running toward them (Very Rock n'Roll). The filming took place in an abandoned diving complex in Plymouth on a very cold english summers day. we arrived at about 11 but weren't needed until about 3pm as the boys were doing performance shots.

The whole day was amazing the boys were lovely it pretty much was us actually hanging out and exploring the complex whilst Dan Broadley worked his magic capturing it. Not much acting was needed as most of it was spontaneous and real such as smashing plates and rooms, piggyback wars and dancing around to 1 Direction "What Makes You Beautiful" inside before Marina smoked it and us out with a flare. The flares caused a bit of commotion with the locals as we used them inside right next to a harbour (not the smartest of ideas).
We filmed an ending scene that wasn't used of us all sat on the roof watching the sunset maybe too cheesey. But that was a wrap, so high fives and hugs but as if i had any grace left to lose Sam managed to pull out one of my extensions, very classy.
Nando's was planned but me and Marina had to catch a train home. Mallory knox have sinced played amazing spots in music festivals this year like headlining a stage at boardmasters and opening the Main stage at reading and Leeds this year. Space Final Photos
Ok so 6 months ago I showed you behind the scenes of my hair styling for Space salon's new Promo photos. I feel almost obligated to show you the final product now. If any one was holding their breath waiting to see I'm sorry (although I highly doubt that) These two images are used within Space's promotional and expense booklet so if you live in Exeter you can go pick it up and keep my face with you where ever you go! I like how they turned out although not having my long hair and usual make-up really made me feel out of my comfort zone. Having another model let alone 3 was a completely new experience for me. so having to interact and consider the whole picture not just myself was challenging but it allowed us to create something different.
As always, Jazz Furphy xxx

Rat Attack, A Bird in Hand Video

A little while ago I was an extra in Rat Attacks newest video Bird in Hand. The story line is that the guys have girlfriends but still can't help sneaking out and playing with other girls. It was filmed in Exeter at various bars and clubs.Three groups of girls where used the Girlfriends, and two sets of "Singles"?
As I was put in the second set of "Singles" the first half of the day was just filling out the back ground and subsequently drinking to fill the time. By the time I was needed I didn't need to act feeling Tipsy. Can partying really be called acting though? The conclusion of the video is the girlfriends come out and beat the boys at there own game by catching them in the act and emasculating them.
During the course of the evening Kerrang Magazine visited the final bar to create a piece for their Introducing section which occurs every issue to expose an up and coming band. Rat Attack have had an awesome year in 2013 by playing festivals such as Download, Boardmasters and most recently Reading & Leeds. Check them out on facebook here https://www.facebook.com/ratattackuk?fref=ts And watch and comment on the video below.

Hunt The Whole Truth Winner

On The Thursday Morning of Don Broco's gig at Koko's Club in Camden, London, they announced the winner via Twitter and Facebook. Me. 9:30 in the morning of the gig. I live an expensive over 4 hour journey from London. I have another lesson at college and work later. Fletcher and Aaron in stitches next to me as I've won a prize that I have no chance in getting. Luckily I'd passed my car theory test that morning and my farther was in a pretty giving mood. I hoped on a train accompanied shortly after by a lovely chap from bude who likes his Christmas pigs in blankets with cheese. After pacing up and down Kings Cross Station and navigating the underground.

I arrived at Koko's before my Friend Robyn who set out an hour later then me. Only to phone a number I was given over twitter about 5 times with no answer. I was an hour and a half late but that was inevitable and I'd informed them. Hannah then came got me from outside the Venue and took me straight up to meet the Broco boys. They where lovely and I was a little bit flustered but they all give me a hug and offered me a drink and a sofa to sit on. We chatted for a little while about the competition, my journey, the night to come and other randoms. I think a little shocked by how far I'd come for the day they offered to put me on their guestlist with a plus one to HitTheDeck Festival in Bristol the following Saturday( A Lot closer to where I live) Shame it was only brief. We took some photos then Hannah offered for me to sit in the next event with the gents which was an interview with some Rock Sound competition winners.
A very brave young girl asking some cringey questions toward Rob instead of offsetting or taking offence the boys just laughed and taking it in their stride keeping the conversation flowing and jovial After some photos where taken and a small chat before the boys where whisked off for their next appointment. Robyn had arrived half way through this and luckily got to meet them too. Left to our own devices we filtered down through the numerous levels onto the floor before the stage ready and waiting for the nights music and antics to begin.
(Outfit: Dress - Newlook, Leather Jacket - Zara)
I also won a few goodies such as the BrocoAtKoko's shirt, A pin badge, Poster and wrist band which I haven't taken off ;)
